To qualify for Independent Living you need to be:

Between 18-25 years old at the start of the tenancy

In work or on an apprenticeship

Capable of living independently with minimal support

Eligible to rent a property in England
Independent Living offers:

Truly affordable rent, set at no more than one-third of your full time salary

Well appointed, well managed, single person accommodation

Access to Centrepoint’s wrap-around support provision
Self Contained Homes
Complete with a private kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, kitted out with everything you need to make your place a home. You just need to be in full-time employment or an apprenticeship scheme to qualify.

Facilities:
Double bed and bedside table; kitchenette with washing machine, sink, fridge/freezer and mini oven; two-seater sofa and footstool; breakfast bar with TV stand and drawers; bathroom with WC, shower and wash basin; WiFi.
Not included:
Utilities (e.g. gas, electric, council tax) and food.
Apprenticeship Houses
Our apprenticeship houses are big on the social aspect of living independently. Living with up to six other people in a shared house, with a communal bathroom, kitchen, and lounge area - perfect for sociaising with your new housemates. You'll have your own private bedroom for when you want a bit of down time. You just need to be in full time employment on an apprenticeship scheme to qualify.

I have to get my own house I have been homeless since two years ago and I’m still living with a friend. It’s not a good situation for me and I’m trying my hardest but I’m trying not to get depressed I miss my family and my dog whom I have never had to leave behind before he’s getting older and I’m worried that I might lose him please help me Joanna from Stoke on Trent living in Crewe
