moneywise
As a Centrepoint Young person you have access to free money and budgeting support.
Whether you are looking to understand more about how working will affect your income, find out if there are any benefits or grants you are entitled to or are struggling with debt repayments and want to access support, the Moneywise team is here to help.
Moneywise offers a range of support so speak to your keyworker if you'd like to book an appointment with one of our financial coaches. The sessions can be one off or regular and are completely non-judgemental. We're not here to tell you what to do with your money, just here to support in achieving whatever your financial goals are.
Examples of things you can talk about in an appointment:
-
You've just started work and want to learn how your income will change
-
You are looking to learn more about what bills you will need to pay after move on
-
You are currently paying electric and gas and want to know how to save on bills
-
You are struggling with a debt repayment you set up and want support to look at changing it
-
You are looking to understand more about your income and outgoings and how to budget better
-
You have just received a large bill that’s left you feeling overwhelmed and looking for support in how you can manage it
Feel free to contact the moneywise team by emailing moneywisereferrals@centrepoint.org or alternatively ask your keyworker to make a referral to get an appointment booked in!
